Back again for the monthly update on the We Are Athletes Team.  We had a terrific showing at the Women's Run.  There were a total of 20 ladies from the team and all performed great.  We had many, many award winners and even a couple of double award winners.  We got so many awards that space limitations on our website won't allow me to list them.  Check out the photo on the homepage to see your favorite. 

 

The following day we raced in Hauppage at the Thunder Run.  Maybe we didn't have as large a showing there, but we did pick up quite a bit of hardware.  Several of us were even crazy enough to do both events.  I won't name names, you know who you are. 

 

Yesterday, a few, of us again braved the elements to run the Asthma Run in Jericho.  It was a nice race with most of it run on the shady streets of Brookville.  We managed 4 awards for 4 athletes, with Kevin the big winner, placing 1st.  Gwyeth, Pam and Annie, all placing 3rd.  Annie was the lucky winner of a raffle for a new pair of running shoes.  Now you know why we stay around until the end.
